Understanding the Well-being of Advanced Counseling Students of Color
The primary objective of this study is to increase our understanding of the ways in which perceived discrimination, coping strategies, competence, stress, social support, and self-efficacy in counselor education programs relate to overall well-being for advanced counseling students of color.
Currently enrolled as a master’s or doctoral student in a counseling education program 18 years of age or older Capable of providing informed consent without the assistance of a legal guardian Identify as a racial or ethnic minority Able to understand written and spoken English at the time of the survey
Exclusion Criteria:
Adults unable to consent Individuals who are not yet adults (infants, children, teenagers)
