Perception of Swallowing and possible changes in adults

Swallowing changes with age. We are interested in finding out perceptions about swallowing and the language people use to describe changes, if any.

If participants meet eligibility criteria, they will complete a zoom interview with questions regarding swallowing, eating, and drinking.

Inclusion Criteria:
40 years or older
Adequate hearing
English speaking
Healthy
Exclusion Criteria:
No diagnosed dysphagia or swallowing difficulty
No dementia
No progressive neurologic disease like Parkinson's disease
