Verbal Encoding and Visuospatial Recall in Autism Spectrum Disorder
In this study, we ask adults with autism spectrum disorder to view short animated clips and then provide verbal narratives and visuospatial reenactments of the animations. Our goal is to better understand the ways verbal and visuospatial working memory each contribute to memory formation and expression in autism.
age range 18 to 50 years sentence-length English as primary language normal or corrected to normal vision have an autism spectrum disorder willing to consent and complete study requirements
Exclusion Criteria:
cannot communicate in sentence-length English uncorrected vision problems significant learning problems unwilling to consent or complete study requirements
