Neurocognitive mechanisms of stress and smoking
Smokers report that cigarettes relieve stress, but we know little about the mechanisms that drive this effect. This study will use laboratory tasks to assess how stress and smoking affect performance on cognitive tasks.
Participants will come to the Penn State Hershey Medical center for a single 3 hour visit. They will complete behavioral tasks and surveys.
