ADHD in Adulthood: Through Her Eyes
The purpose of this research is to examine the lived experiences of women, aged 29-55 (inclusive), who have been diagnosed with ADHD for the first time as adults. The study team would like to explore potential barriers to diagnosis for women and what the experience has been like with identifying their diagnosis as an adult.
This project has two phases. The first group of participants will complete phase one, in which they will participate in a focus group regarding their lived experience with ADHD. The second group of participants will complete phase two, in which they will complete one-on-one interviews with the study staff regarding their lived experience with ADHD. Both groups will also complete online questionnaires before the virtual visit.
